How We Bend

Bending!

This whole process has lead us here, where we will incorporate and layer onto the rest of what we've learned in this course!

This section really focuses on learning about how we move our spine and making intentional choices around this movement.

 There's no one right way to bend, but if you always and only bend one way, then your body will get really good at ONLY that one way! I'll always repeat myself when it comes to this, please don't stress about every time you bend being perfect! Maybe just find one activity a day where you add an extra layer of intention, an example would be when you unload the dishwasher, take a few minutes to practice bending with mindfulness and intention, but again, without adding worry or stress to your life! As you consistently make small changes, it will start to impact your overall movement patterns!

Exercise Class

Here is where we get to practice our intentional bending!

I encourage you to go through these moves slowly, and also, if you have access to one, in front of a mirror. Our normal feels so..... normal! And because of this, it's sometimes hard to really feel what's moving and what's not, so using a mirror can be very helpful in finding our own patterns.
