Neck and Shoulder Relief Video Tutorial
I tend to carry my tension in my neck and shoulders and jaw.
When we feel pain, like a headache or extra tension, our tendency is to not move. I want to cocoon and just hope it all goes away. But, what I've found to be really helpful is gentle, mindful movements that bring blood flow to the area and movement encourages the tension to release, rather than slump down on the couch.
Here's about 10 minutes of mindful movement that I practice when I'm needing some gentle movements in the neck and shoulder area. Enjoy!
